Wetland (2013-2016) Sewell Brook in Sherborn, Ma, where I live, is named for the judge in the Salem witch trials. The brook empties into the Charles River just upstream from the overlook where the Massasoit chief "King Philip" led his deadly raid on the nearby village of Medfield. Shortly after I moved to Sherborn, beavers plugged the brook and flooded the forest, an event I photographed with my digital camera. The beavers eventually went elsewhere, and using a 4x5 view camera this time, I photographed the changing landscape. Each day is different and I am here to follow the life cycle of this pond to a meadow.
